Nope! It has nothing to do with the Elle Fanning’s film The Neon Demon, but it does have a certain glow to it; Neon is the name of a new web browser designed by the company Opera with the purpose of competing against the massive leader Google Chrome.

Neon is another project of Opera which comes with a different version regarding the conventional of basic elements of browsers such as the directions bar, a speed dial section for marked websites and the dissolution of inner windows replaced by interactive bubbles piled up in a column situated at the right side of the screen.

Each of the bubbles has the ID and logo of the website and a small capture of how the opened window looks like, that way is easier to identify them previous opened.

This is a concept tool, nothing common or regular will be found here since it’s a proposal for improving the system as we know it; let’s say the future of browsers and how we interact with them.

Hello Change!

The Neon Demon - Browser

Neon can be downloaded for the Mac operative or Windows system. Given the fact that web browsers lost their freshness since several years ago Opera takes the risk to innovate the media, keeping up to speed updates and feed the expectative of people regarding what’s the next. The future is not seen as compromised of updated aspects of what we already have, but also new elements to create a better and new environment for all users.

The development of this program came through several tests and trials, mostly to deliver a good sense of experience for different users that navigate the web daily, from their phones and pcs; after several sketches, prototypes and concepts, the uniqueness presented in Neon became more than just a possibility.

A reproduction of talent and future envision. That’s the perfect way to describe the Opera Neon, an experimental development that works with the Blink system (an engine of Opera’s professionals) and a new perspective for visuals while surfing all content in the web. Also, the web browser merges temporarily with your desktop’s background to offer a more comfortable experience through your use, a wider space for customizing.

Just as many things nowadays, the browser were designed with a smart operative system that handles all your inner windows (tabs) regarding the constant use, priority and routine movements of your behavior while exploring the web.

If multitasking is your deal simply go to the split screen mode to compare, gather all resources you can at once and enjoy a complete interaction just as you please.

Now, the Neon demon does have certain lack of relevant features that were left out for the immediate future… principally the option of adding up extensions is nowhere to be found, neither is the natural blocking ability of ads; but the point of a challenging and experimental tool is that it can get expanded and adjusted to a new future.

Play with Opera Neon and feel the new wave of changes that are coming our way in this year 2017.
